Parking Please note we have a car park on-site however it can get very busy and is limited. Please respect the neighbours when parking on-street by not blocking their driveways. Please do not park opposite other cars therefore making the road too narrow to pass. Come and join us at this beautiful old pub very soon. Superb in all regards except one! The service was charming and very professional. The food was delicious and without fault. Portions ample, perfectly cooked and presented! Overall flawless however the coffee is awful! Really poor. The house cafetière coffee which my wife had, was bad, very 1970’s warm with very low quality taste. Not trusting cafetière coffee I ordered a cappacino at extra cost which was as poor. Come on Dovecote, time to catch up with the rest of the world and serve decent coffee. Such a prestigious reputation and otherwise generally great - what a shame!

Fantastic food - 3 course dinner menu plus canapés and a muse bouche, brilliant service from Abi and Owen and a beautiful riverside setting. No wonder you have to boom months in ad ance!! Highly recommended.

Although it was very busy with Christmas parties, we were served quickly with lovely food, by lovely staff. However, they did get our order wrong, but quickly rectified it. We throughly enjoyed our visit, until it was time to use the loo! They are in an awful state and needs a complete makeover!
