We had a lovely meal in the room with the seashell fireplace. Adam gave us friendly and attentive service. My husband had the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich which came with a wedge salad. The chicken was cooked perfectly, crisp and tender. I had the double cut pork chop. The sides of Brussels sprouts were tender and tossed with sautéed onions, and the polenta was flavorful. We've been coming to the 4th floor restaurant for 20+ years and this iteration is wonderful. It feels warm and inviting, always a good view of the ocean, and the new menu is excellent. We had brunch on a weekday--started with a La Fayette cinna roll that was soo good. Good strong coffee from a local vendor (Cpt and Stoker). My eggs bennie were perfect and the wait staff was attentive but not hovering. They covered for each other and food was brought out hot and tasty. Really a very nice experience and we're so grateful to live in beautiful Monterey!

Great food, super service, fantastic view and price is reasonable. Eight of us had either the buffet (which was amazing) or ordered lunch off the menu.
