We’ve long loved Canary Wharf and it's rich history of the nearby Docklands and Billingsgate Market, yet Blacklock in a glass tower never quite fit. Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). We have visited this restaurant many times for family celebrations and other events. The food is always exceptional, matched by friendly , courteous, informative and helpful staff. Good wine list and lovely decor , I can never find fault with anything here . I would highly recommend Smiths, it’s not cheap but this restaurant is a great example of you get what you pay, all round great place for excellent fish and seafood.

Beautiful cafe right by the station. The pizza was delicious. We got a Diavola and Procuitto de Funghi which was fresh, and full of flavour. Cozy ambience and good seating.
