Restaurants near Canyon Lake Marina

The restaurant ambience was a mix of new and old world Italy with a sprinkling of modern glam! Excellent menu-food and cocktails and wine. The homemade pasta dishes -rigatoni ala vodka, lobster ravioli and mafaldi bolognese- were OUTSTANDING! The antipasto bar was soooo delish!! The wait staff and manager were very friendly and service was excellent. The only negatives were the moderate noise level and having to wait nearly 40 min for our reservation. That being said, I absolutely plan to return! Thanks for a lovely dining experience!!

This is the 2nd time at Ocean 44 and it was as good as the first experience. Food delicious! One recommendation is when the staff talks about the specials of the day, PLEASE have them indicate the price. We had celebrated New Years Eve at Ocean Prime and when they describe the specials they offer the price. Its much nicer than we the customers having to ask how much something costs!

Our server, Amanda was amazing. She not only was helpful with selections and descriptions of the menu, she was so sweet to get a shawl for me when I mentioned I was cold. She just showed up with a shawl and let me use it for the remaining time of our dinner. That was such a special gesture on her part. The steak and Chilean sea bass was cooked to perfection. Tasteful and delicious! The fried chicken lobster tails are always a hit! Highly recommend. The only disappointment was the asparagus fries were a bit oily. And the key lime pie, well, it could of use some additional flavor. It wasn’t a favorite. However, the overall experience was memorable and worth returning. Again, kudos to Amanda and her extended waitstaff that took such good care of us!

Wasn’t expecting much as it’s a new highly anticipated concept in a very competitive market but I was blown away by the food, service, decor and ambiance. Well done all around. Clear elements of proper training, well curated menu that is not overdone - simple and approachable with an emphasis on quality and flavor. Staff is professional- refined dining experience without the stuffiness. Decor is top notch- felt like an elevated beach house in the desert. Consistency will need to be the name of the game from this point forward…can they sustain the same quality in all aspects going forward…not sure but will definitely be back in the hopes it does.

We had a loved Christmas Even lunch, was quiet, decent food and a lovely server!
