- MMargePhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoCelebrating Christmas Day at Sapore was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The restaurant was very busy. We were seated immediately and the staff was extremely friendly and efficient. We ordered from the specials for the day menu. The creamy chicken soup was delicious and the perfect temperature. The salad with cheese and olives was exceptional. I ordered the fish with crab, artichokes and grape tomatoes. My husband ordered the pasta with shrimp and scallops. Both were absolutely delicious and the portions were huge. The cheesecake and tiramisu were exceptional! Our waitress was the best ever! We will definitely return!More infoSapore ItalianoPrice: Expensive• Italian• Cape May•4.7

The restaurant was beautifully decorated, the staff was friendly and the food was excellent. We had the king salmon, the cioppino and the lamb shank. All 3 entrees were very flavorful and nicely plated. For dessert we shared the donuts and cinnamon ice cream. Both were enjoyable. The Ebbitt Room is one of Cape May’s finest restaurants!More infoThe Ebbitt Room at the VirginiaPrice: Very Expensive• American• Cape May•4.7

Attractively decorated for the holiday while still maintaining elegance. It is BYOB. The New England Clam Chowder was flavorful with generous amount of clams. Husband had grilled polenta with broccoli rabe & fresh shaved Pecorino Romano cheese “like Mom used to make.” I couldn’t finish my seafood risotto. So generous was the portion of local shrimp, scallops & clams though I tried ! Husband had Shrimp & Salmon with mash potatoes in chili sauce. Delicious. Try the Pumpkin cheesecake & you’ll think it’s Thanksgiving again. Highly reccomendedMore infoTisha'sPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Cape May•4.8

Mushroom soup was very flavorful and both the sea bass and short rib were excellent. Presented beautifully too. The short rib was the best I have had anywhere. Jenny our server was very attentive and really knew the menu and also made us aware of the sommelier on staff. We were not doing wines tonight but good to know as we will continue to go here. Decorated beautifully for the holidays too!More infoWashington InnPrice: Expensive• American• Cape May•4.8
