- NNiaSouth Wales •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWe really enjoyed our evening. Your staff are fantastic. Chu’s customer service was outstanding. He was excellent and very helpful. He was also extremely attentive. He really made our experience enjoyable. He explained every course so well and was a really lovely server. He made our meal very relaxing and an enjoyable experience. We also then had a drink at the bar and Kuba deserves a special mention for making my partner a special birthday surprise with his drink of dry ice. He was also very knowledgeable on the menu and very helpful and friendly. Thank you for a lovely evening. Your staff are what make the experience worth it even more so than the food and they are invaluable.More infoThe Ivy Asia, CardiffPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Asian• Cardiff•4.5

- NnigelLancashire •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 9, 2024What a lovely place. Stumbled upon this pub as we did not want to eat in Glastonbury and is only a short drive, it is down a dark country road but well lit. We were taken aback when we walked in by the character and welcoming staff. Honestly they could not do any more for us, let us try the tap beers and gave a choice of where we wanted to sit. Very attentive staff very pleasant. The food came quickly and was so delicious we both had fish stew, I am not a great fan of fish but this was something special and generous portion of bread to go with it. Will definately return if ever in the area and they also have rooms which look as inviting as the pub. There has been great care and attention taken with this country pub it is a credit to the staff. It is a real hidden gem!!More infoThe Lion at PennardPrice: Expensive• British• Wells•4.6
