Restaurants near Central Islip Station

We made a last minute reservation and were pleasantly greeted upon arrival. We love to sit near the fireplace, however there was not an available table in that area. Instead we were seated upstairs which was such a pleasant experience! It was much more quiet and formal. Our waiter was so kind, attentive and funny! The food was 10/10 as per usual. We enjoy the crab cake, baked clams, porterhouse for two, shishito peppers and lobster mac; it’s our “go-to” dinner. It’s always a pleasure to dine at Tellers whether it’s for a casual dinner or holiday celebration.

Food was fantastic & extremely prompt, despite being so busy! Service even more so. Our server was Andrew. He was absolutely impressive to the point, we had to put in a good word to the Manager. Just when I could not be anymore impressed, Manager Rubins handed me his card & told us the next time we come to make sure we send him a text to make sure we get taken care of. WOW! What an amazing dining experience. 5 Stars to the max. Can’t wait to go back.

We have been to Nosh Kitchen & Cocktails two other times but this time we wanted to come and just have a few appetizers. Nosh Kitchen & Cocktails have a wide assortment of appetizers to choose from. We decided to have the Cheeseburger Sliders, Braised Beef and Spinach Egg Rolls served with spicy mayo sauce, General Tso Steamed Buns (which was our favorite), 470 Flatbread with Carmelized Balsamic Onions and Brie Cheese and Seared Feta. All of these appetizers were prepared very well and delicious.

Service was excellent. Staff was incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of the meal. Even though the price was high the food was well worth the bill. From appetizers through to the dessert and the variety of atypical wines everything was paired to perfection. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience a truly upscale and diverse Italian cuisine.

This is one of our go to restaurants. The food is always fantastic. In the service is impeccable.
