Restaurants near Charleston Farmhouse

My sister and I are frequent visitors to Lewes where Bill's is our favourite restaurant. They have never failed to please, tasty food, prompt service and convivial atmosphere. Today was no exception when they were extremely busy. Special thanks to Izzy.

Sonia was our waitress - she was absolutely fantastic. She was on top of everything and so polite and interesting. The cheese soufflé was outstanding - as was the ribeye steak along with spinach and chunky chips. Yumbo!!! The Rose wine was delicious too - just the inexpensive one at the top of the rose list. A fine dining experience in the heart of Lewes. From the warm welcome, flawless service and well curated menu, through to the elegance of the decor and the deliciousness of the food, this extraordinary venue remains a five star delight.

Lovely to meet the new chef and we enjoyed the half lobster meal.

Food was served quickly, lovely and hot. Sadly they had run out of Sunday Roasts in the evening when we arrived but selection on menu was good. Great they serve food until 10pm. We joined in the pub quiz which was good fun too.
