Beautiful old world New Orleans style restaurant. The jazz brunch was absolutely delicious!! The best value by far! Muriel's is upscale yet casual. The music was not too loud and created a soothing atmosphere. Cristo and Janice were super attentive, professional and fun. If you want to experience true New Orleans cuisine, Muriel's will not disappoint!

We have been eating at The Italian Barrel for 10 years or so and we have always had a great experience. The food is always great by NOLA standards which is saying something and the service has always been efficient and friendly. Saturday night was a birthday celebration and David, our server was great with food recommendations as well as wine. We could not recommend The Italian Barrel strong enough. You will not be disappointed.

It was a slow night for Landry’s when we visited, just days after the terrorist attack on Bourbon Street. But that didn’t stop the maitre’d, waitress, and manager from welcoming us and providing excellent service. We had both of the Mahi-mahi dishes and finished with cheesecake. Overall, a lovely dining experience to start off the Carnival season.
