We seek superior suppliers such as The Broken Arrow Ranch, Satur Farms, and Hudson Valley Farms, as well as the local farmer’s markets. We have been acknowledged for our food by Zagat (which stated “This is why they built the Brooklyn Bridge”), Gourmet, Bon Appetit, and many others. Our wine program has received the Wine Spectator’s “Award of Excellence”. The staff has hosted a dinner at the prestigious James Beard House. We have outdoor covered and heated dining and are happy to offer all of our options for take-out.

Elephant District brings the flavors of Bangkok's riverside street food to Dumbo. Led by Executive Chef Ekapol “Top” Aranyawikul, our menu features Krapow Moo Krob, stir-fried crispy pork belly with Thai basil, chili, and garlic, inspired by his mother's recipe.     The River Cafe is probably the most beautiful and maybe the best restaurant in NYC. The views are stunning and the service without comparison. We had the vegetarian menu which was varied and delicious . There were a number complimentary “ gifts” from the chef in addition to the amuse bouche . The bread was excellent, beet salad was prepared table side , I had the truffle risotto and my companion the simple pasta dish which was also delicious . We both had the signature dessert - the Brooklyn bridge . I can recommend this restaurant highly . It’s expensive but worth every cent.
