We make it to Valenza every month or two and always have a great experience. The pasta is exceptional and I usually enjoy their specials. Last night we tried the tiramisu for the first time and I regret knowing about that. It was so good! I feel like I will have to order it every time we return now. I asked and they said they make it fresh everyday. We always start with the bread, I think the focaccia is the best. Either way you won’t be disappointed!

I had lunch with two friends on Friday November 22nd at Petite Violette and as usual everything was wonderful! The food and drinks as well as the service and atmosphere were fantastic. The servers and staff were so friendly and one even provided a quick tour of their beautiful Christmas/holiday decorations. Petite Violette is a perfect place to take friends or family for a great meal!

Reservation was for 10:30 AM wasn’t busy service was somewhat slow getting the food out took almost 30 minutes before food came. I had the shrimp and grits. Grits were somewhat bland and I had cheese added it. Shrimp was slightly overcooked and dry. Ambience is very nice clean my server, continuously checked on our table. Music was a little too loud considering there were only about eight other customers in the building. Will check it out again during brunch hours.

My overall experience was good. The starters was excellent, but when it came to the entrées, it was not good. The creamy Cajun pasta was oily and did not have any Cajun season and the pasta itself. When I ordered the herb roasted chicken, the chicken was not fresh and it was dry. The creamy spinach was not good. The method I used to cook. The creamy spinach is wrong. The spinach was whole and not cut up and it was just sitting in a puddle of milk. And I also don’t like the fact that they automatically add a gratuity of 20% to your bill.
