Restaurants near Commodores Inn

Great time at Plate! The food was mostly standard American, nothing out of the ordinary but the quality of the food was great. Our waitress was kind and attentive as well as the host who seated us. It is a smaller space so be prepared to hear others speaking and dining. Banana pudding is a must! We would come again, but for more casual dining in Vermont.

We were pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the food we received at Highland Lodge. The flavors were particularly high-end and the quantity was generous. We ordered a mushroom appetizer which was wonderful and used a number of wild mushrooms that we enjoy. We each ordered a pasta dish - both were delicious, but they did not come with any side at all - no small salad, no Italian bread. I asked for a roll or something and the waitress brought two slices of cold, not-too-fresh focaccia bread and charged extra for it. That was disappointing as in our experience most restaurants serve a basket of hot garlic bread with a pasta meal. However, overall, we did enjoy the meal and will dine there again.

Recent renovations have made the porch dining even more comfortable Upgrades to the kitchen have enabled some menu changes and prompt delivery of orders As always the service is superb Another wonderful meal

We did not eat here only drinks…was amazing atmosphere…

BEST Ruben sandwich I ever had. Went back the next day. Must try!!
