- JJuliaVIPDallas - Fort Worth •39 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe have been going to the Oar House for probably 35 years. The dinners and their special sauces are phenomenal! The bread this trip was soggy and not fresh. We asked for another order and it was exactly the same ! The service was somewhat lacking! I always state in my reservations if it is a special occasion but the staff never looks!! It was our 50th anniversary and I had to keep telling everyone and I shouldn’t have to!More infoThe Oar HousePrice: Moderate• Italian• Rockwall•4.7
- CCarmenSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had the most pleasant time here ! We had Steven as our server. 1000/100 in service ! The food was hot, delicious and well proportioned. The timing Of the food coming out in between appetizers, drinks and main course were all in great timings. I would certainly come back !More infoUrban grill and wine bar McKinneyPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• McKinney•4.8
- LLesDallas - Fort Worth •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoNew to the Rockwall restaurant landscape, I have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant. The restaurant is inviting and warm in character. The dining area offers both booths and tables but leaves enough room between to avoid feeling crowded or imposing on another dining party. A full bar with seating is also available. We were warmly welcomed by several of the staff when arriving and being sat. New to this location, it appears they have enclosed the outdoor patio area. We did not venture outside (much too cold) but it looks like a lot of great added space. I would consider Wades Landing a very family friendly place. IMO, the menu selections fit this area. Nothing too exotic, which I believe is a good decision. Too often new restaurants open with menus that don't fit the pallets of their customers. Great food; yes, but entree familiarity wins out every time if you want to become a staple in the community. Speaking of the food, we very much enjoyed out entree and appetizers. Our food came out warm and was simply delicious. Note that if you come in on a Wednesday, their wine by the bottle, is 1/2 off. If you like Pinot Noir, I suggest the Banshee label. The prices are slightly higher, but I personally feel it fairly matches the quality of this restaurant.More infoWade's LandingPrice: Moderate• American• Rockwall•4.7
