Love and Salt is a story that begins with Cafe Pierre, a restaurant birthed by Guy Gabriele in 1977 to bring a taste of France to Los Angeles’ South Bay.     Sublime! Service spectacular! Our waitress Miranda made us feel very special. Her energy positive and uplifting contagious. Courtney, the manager, checked on us and made sure we were happy. I appreciated the personal attention and professionalism. The food was yummy. No complaints. My only quibble would be with myself that next time I don’t order too many fried dishes, and remember to ask first if it’s fried to be sure.

    We celebrated the New Year with a beautiful lunch at the strand house. The elevator was super helpful for my parents to get them up to the third floor. We had an amazing view and a wonderful time. The food was really great and the service was outstanding.

    The table next to us had children banging spoons into their glasses. They were unsettled and vocal throughout the meal. It was a festive atmosphere, but it was difficult to focus on my husband's conversation with the banging from the next table. The food was delicious. The service was great. My husband enjoyed his cocktail. Making our reservation was easy. The Christmas carolers were a nice touch for the holidays.
