Food was really good ; the lobster and volcano roll may have been some of the best sushi options I ever had had Spence being in Houston. A lot busier on Valentine’s Day but none the less we had a great time.

Guard and Grace is a beautiful place to spend on any special occasion. My husband and I went for Valentine’s Day and really enjoyed ourselves. Our server, Trey, had excellent table side manner and was very knowledgeable of the menu. We really appreciated him as our server and will request him again when we come back with friends and family. The only negative thing I have to say is we don’t feel that the steaks were worth the value for the price. I got the NY strip and it was very tough. Which, strip usually is always tough but I was expecting a more tender piece of meat with a little more flavor. My husband got the Ribeye and he also felt like the steak could have been prepared better. He asked for rare and it was a cool red center like Trey told us it would be, but he felt like it was a bit over cooked. He liked the flavor though. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. I think it’s worth a try.

We have always celebrated our success at this place and when i tell you they don’t disappoint i mean it . The Benihana trio is by far my favorite. I will definitely be back to celebrate more often.

Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The shrimp eggrolls and spinach crab dip were the perfect starters, full of flavor and beautifully presented. The highlight of the meal was the teriyaki salmon, which was cooked to perfection, and the lemon drop cocktails were the ideal refreshing accompaniment. Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The service at Thirteen was outstanding. Our server was incredibly helpful and friendly, making sure our party of 11 was well taken care of throughout the evening. Ambience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The decor and ambiance of Thirteen added to the overall experience, creating a stylish and comfortable atmosphere. After dinner, we headed downstairs to the nightclub, which was a fantastic way to continue the celebration. The vibe was energetic, and everyone in our group enjoyed themselves immensely. Second time here but over a year in between and it was just as good as the first time. Service can be a little hit or miss, as they are stretched like most restaurants these days. Have some patience, and they will take care of you. The food is really good with lots of variety and good value packages of fixed price Japanese BBQ meals for various sized guest tables. We had the Holiday special for 3 and it was a ton of food. Probably enough to feed 4 or 5 with a variety of meat, chicken, and shrimp. While it may not be the highest quality Japanese or Korean style BBQ places in town, it's very good and worth the money.
