Service was wonderful, all were very attentive! Suggested great pastas that I would love and paired with the best wine! Lovely especially with the Christmas decor still up. Everyone was having a good time.

The ambiance is unbeatable and the food was pretty good, but not exceptional for the price. The wine deal was great. The service was overall pretty good, but we had a few issues. When we arrived, with a reservation, we had to wait about 25 minutes for our table. We were eventually taken to the side room, so our table was nice, but I would’ve been disappointed if we’d gotten a table in the middle of the main area or upstairs because it wasn’t as cute and the main area was pretty chaotic. While waiting for the table, they suggested we wait at the bar, which we did, and nobody ever acknowledged us or took our order. When we sat down, there seemed to be confusion about who our server was and multiple people came up to our table to take our order and check on us. That being said, they were all very professional and helpful. I will say, it was my friend’s birthday, which I put on the reservation and reminded our (first) waiter, and they never did anything to acknowledge it. We ordered two desserts, and they didn’t even give her a candle!! I’ve never experienced that before, especially at a high-end restaurant. That was very disappointing.

This was probably the best experience I’ve had at Old Ebbitt Grill. We got seated in the bar area, which was warm and comforting on a cold, snowy night. Our waiter was awesome…incredible competent with just the right amount of sass. The food was amazing…everything we ate was delicious. And the company was wonderful. I can’t wait for others to come into town to take them here.

Arrived before reservation time had to wait a little but we finally got seated. It was a total of 10 in our party. Server did an excellent job Dillian) and was very knowledgeable of menu and the specials. We were celebrating an anniversary and it was nice to see they acknowledged that by posting it on our individual menus, nice touch. Food was cooked to perfection. I had the Filet and a side of Spinach with Mushrooms. Can’t wait to go back. Thanks Morton’s for making this occasion special.
