- LLindaGlasgow/Lanarkshire •4 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoThe ambience and service are always good. The soup however could have been warmer while the gluten free options were very limited. Restaurants and chefs need to be aware that gluten free does not mean vegetarian! The soup should have been served with bread but no gluten free bread was provided or offered. My friend was impressed with her non-gluten lunch.More infoThe Ivy Buchanan Street GlasgowPrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Glasgow•4.5
- JJamieVancouver / British Columbia •20 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis was probably one of the best lunches I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. I have been to an Ivy restaurant before in Windsor on my last trip to the UK but I don't remember it being quite this good. The food was extraordinary, service impeccable, and because I was by myself, I was able to observe the staff and how they operate. It was so fascinating watching such a well-oiled machine. I used to work in hospitality and it was a delight to watch. Mimi was incredible and so wonderful to chat with, she even picked up that I was Canadian, not American. The dessert was to die for as well. The whole experience really made my day. Not to mention the decor of The Ivy is just incredible. Even the bathroom was amazing. Highly recommend this chain if you are ever in UK, they have many locations to choose from. Cheers.More infoThe Ivy on the SquarePrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Old Town•4.4
- EErikaEdinburgh/Midlothian •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoLovely place. Nice and clean. Excellent food. Good atmosphere. Lovely staff. The only down side is the toilet is in a wee cabin at the side. But it's warm and clean and tidy. Highly recommend booking as it can get very busy. There's limited seating indoors. But plenty out door seating. Don't worry. There's space heaters so you don't get cold.More infoDown the Hatch - South QueensferryPrice: Expensive• Canadian• Edinburgh•4.6
