Outstanding display of holiday decor accompanied by 3 world class dishes or duck, beef tenderloin and Risotto. The duck was tops and one of the best duck dishes I’ve eaten in quite some time. Well done, Geist!

Reservations so we were seated immediately and had the best table in the house. Zach, our waiter, was exceptional in all aspects. For appetizers we had the crab cake and calamari. Crab cake was delicious. For salad, we had the wedge. My wife loved the Chilean Sea Bass entree, which buttery, flaky, and tasty. I had the filet, which was a disappointment… Although tender (as you would expect), the seasoning did not register and the hot oven preparation left it with a bland flavor. The sides of a baked potato and braised greens were very good. The braised greens were a surprise as the seasoning was exceptional. I might suggest to not overlook them, but give them a try.

Loved the food. Loved the service. Loved the vibe. The tables in the front room are a bit close so we ended up talking to our neighbor table since we were elbow to elbow. Luckily they were great. Will be back. Loved this place.

Overall I would recommend this steakhouse while at the Mint. Some of the seasonings (mostly in the Truffle Macaroni) may have been a little quirky but the steak was outstanding. The beer I requested was out but the waitress stated she could get more. After about 20 minutes my husband went to the Oasis bar just around the corner and returned with my beer in less than 5 minutes. We ordered the molten lava cake to go…it was not bagged or silverware was not provided. But other than those few things it was a great place.

Made reservations for the first time for Valentine’s Day. It was the best valentines dinner we have had in a long time! White Castle went above & beyond to accommodate everyone who made reservations. Not to mention all the decor & special touches to the menu & slider boxes.
