- CCoreyGreater Boston •2 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoSolid B dining experience. Food was tasty but a touch simple for the value. I ordered the braised ribs and gnocchi, I wish it was served bone in and paired with a savory sauce on the rim of the plate. It was tasty though but again, simple. Service was a touch awkward in conversation but attentive. Hostess was luke warm, water boy seemed green, waitress was good but didn’t talk up anything. I would serve butter in a dish, not in packets. I would also ditch the plastic cups, screams cheap. Bathroom needs an overhaul, dated and dirty. The back of the house needs cleaning. Decor needs updating. We felt for the value there are other spots we’d go before returning to Del Sur. They are on the cusp of greater things and not a bad place, just not the top of our list at the moment. That can change and we’d feel more value for the money if improvements are met. $100 for three course meal for two people needs to improve for us to come flying back. Keep at it. The atmosphere, decor, service need a bit more oomph for the cost.More infoDel Sur Artisan EatsPrice: Moderate• Italian• Saint Simons•4.7

- VVickiCoastal Georgia •6 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis was our first visit to The Nest. Because it was cold weather, we sat inside. The interior is small, but very attractive and clean. You are very close to other diners, more than we would prefer. However, the food and service were excellent. The winter salad is wonderful, stuffed cabbage rolls were enjoyed by my husband and I loved the Boa sampler. Excellent wine and cocktail menu. For dessert, I had the Lemon Buttermilk sorbet with blueberry compote, which was delicious. All ingredients were fresh and tasty. we really appreciate that the owner uses ingredients from his local farm and all dishes seem healthier than most choices in other restaurants, other than George Sea Grill, of course! We were very pleased overall. More infoThe NestPrice: Moderate• American• Saint Simons•4.9

I am a celiac and had a special menu at my seat when I arrived. The food was delicious and prepared to perfection. This restaurant is a must when visiting the island.More infoGeorgia Sea GrillPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Saint Simons•4.9
