For such a location and well known place the staff was very attentive and the service flowed throughout, from welcome fro g to final final limoncello. The meat was cooked as I requested (with no fuss) and was delicious. A great place to sit at the bar as well.

This is one of the better dining experiences in Florence. Open just one year, the chef comes to your table and has you taste new dishes he is exploring… meanwhile his partner walks you through each dish and made great wine pairing recommendations. Small, cozy and all pasta is made on premise and food purchased next door at Mercado San Ambrogio…. A true ‘gem’ (Chicca)!

We were in Florence for almost a week and this was our FAVORITE dining experience! It’s family owned and operated, the food is DELICIOUS! Everyone is so friendly too. This is the authentic Italian experience you are looking for and it’s really well priced even given the proximity to the tourist traps by the Duomo.

Great dinner. Beautiful spot on piazza. Pizza is tasty but difficult to cut. Friendly service.
