Restaurants near DoubleTree by Hilton Campbell - Pruneyard Plaza

We had a late lunch on a Wednesday afternoon, so the restaurant was not busy since lunch crowd was gone. I made a reservation and we were immediately shown to our table. Our server Hanna was training a new employee, and he also acted as our server. Service was excellent and appetizers and food came promptly. Overall, the experience was very enjoyable. I highly recommend going during off hours if you prefer a nice quiet, warm ambience. King seafood can get quite busy and loud during peak hours on Friday and on weekends

Our first time at Kyoto Palace, the food was wonderful and we had so much fun.

First of all, I’d like to say how I love the new decor of the renovation they did. It’s much more light inside and open. Our server Ling was very friendly and accommodating. We had a great dinner with wine, poke, shrimp tempura roll and California roll. All of it cane out in a timely manner and tasted fresh. Looking forward to coming back. 

Food was good. Bread didn’t come til after the middle of our meal (we ordered garlic bread as well as regular bread). Service was a little slow despite the restaurant not having too many customers. One of the servers who helped out reeked strongly of cigarettes.

I didn’t realize that it’s actually within the Doubletree hotel if that’s the hotel at the Prune Yard. No one was there. According to two servers, they didn’t have our reservation or at least there wasn’t a manager to confirm. We were the only customers until later in the evening. They looked like hotel customers were coming in, sitting at the bar and the outside fire pit so we had the servers to ourselves. They were very personable, helpful & friendly. The food was excellent and the prices were reasonable. I was with three other people. We had a really nice time and it was for my birthday last month, but getting together with friends to celebrate.
