Restaurants near Douglas Park

This is one of my favorite restaurants downtown. Food was excellent. Chris our server was attentive to our every need. I recommend the beet salad. It may not be on the menu daily. My son had the salmon which was a huge portion. My husband had the seafood special which he said was excellent. I had the chicken piccata. The sauce was perfectly prepared.

What can I say. Creative takes on traditional dishes, the small plates are absolutely amazing! As a foodie I've been privileged to have had some of the best dishes from some of the most acclaimed restaurants and I have to say I was blown away! I'd recommend 4 small plates to share. That way you can experience multiple dishes. Portions are perfect for two. We had the mushroom bruschetta, crab cakes, beef takaki and Brussel sprouts. Be sure to start with one of their drink specials from the bar or a glass of wine from an extensive wine list. And half price drinks at happy hour if you get there early. Officially our new favorite restaurant in Lexington!

You can never go wrong eating at Jeff Ruby’s steakhouse! It’s made even better by making my reservation through OpenTable!

Great food and excellent service before the UK basketball game.

Absolutely fantastic meal and drinks! My only complaint was that we were seated at a table next to the open air window, and the loud motorcycles periodically made conversation a bit difficult. Otherwise, a great experience, wonderful service, and a delicious meal. Highly recommended!
