- JJanetEast Sussex •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoAn absolutely exquisite meal served with beautifully selected ingredients, all cooked to perfection. The lamb was absolutely divine and the accompanying portions generous. There is an excellent selection of wines to complement each course of the menu. The raspberry trifle was a lovely finish to the perfect meal. Staff are professional, polite, friendly, and attentive to the needs of their guests. I would strongly recommend the Mermaids Inn. An experience that combines an enchanting historical cachet with the perfect dining experience.More infoThe Mermaid InnPrice: Expensive• British• Rye•4.6
- DDelphineKent •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoAn improvised stopover between Brussels & Guildford that was a wonderful experience on all fronts : warm welcome, professional service, traditional English food with a touch of modernism (yummy chocolate marquise!) and cosy atmosphere. We will stop here again!More infoThe Tiger InnPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Stowting•4.8

- TTeriBrighton •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWonderful meal. Roasted aubergine cooked to perfection and the sauce was divine. Hubby's cod loin was a winner too. Thought the wine list was expensive so opted for a carafe of Viognier instead. It was one of the loveliest wines I’ve tasted. Service was friendly and faultless too.More infoThe George in RyePrice: Expensive• British• Rye•4.3
