Restaurants near Edge Common

I'm a regular customer at The Pilot Inn. Change in ownership is very visible. Food massively improved, and coffee is to die for. Portions are nice and big, full of flavour. Literally, in the last 4 days, we have been eating there 3 times.

Second time going to peanuts. Tried the burgers this time. Absolutely delicious! Mine needed more of the lime mayo as the meat overpowered the flavour of it so couldn't really taste the mayo. We gave them constructive feedback and they were grateful for it. We did feel however we were being rushed out of the door as soon as our plates had cleared. The bill was bought over straight away, not always a bad thing but we hadn't asked for it and the young girl came back with the card machine almost instantly and we just looked at her and said well we're not ready yet plus we still had our drinks on the table and we weren't asked if we wanted anything else. This happened about another 2 times, still had drinks as well before we were actually ready to pay. She could have been new but more training is needed. Won't stop us going back. X

Steak Night Friday meant we had a very good value supper, with tasty 28 day aged rumps with a good quality pepper sauce and very good chips. Good ales, and very good service. We'll be back.

Lovely Dinner and experience, Taylor stood out for her wonderful service. She went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful and made the evening an excellent one.
