Restaurants near El Paseo Shopping Center

It's a great place with a lot if energy in the bar. We were a little concerned about the noise level in the bar on a busy holiday night but the acoustics were great. We even had a nice conversation with the people sitting next to us. You just can't go wrong sitting in the bar listening to the music surrounded by the most interesting people in the valley while enjoying a great selection of cocktails and epicurean delights .

We were passing through Palm Desert on Christmas Eve and were able to secure a reservation at Cafe Des Beauz-Arts…and were not disappointed. The servers were very attentive and upbeat (despite having to work on Christmas Eve!). I had the Sand Dabs Picatto and the flavors were wonderful…although maybe a little too fishy tasting. Beet Salad and French Onion soup were delectable. A non-alcoholic wine/mocktail selection would have been nice. Raspberry crème brule and cappuccinos were perfect endings to the meal!

Moises was an exceptional waiter who made our first dining experience with Sullivan’s a great one. When ever we return to Palm Springs, we’ll be back. Thank you Moises and thank you to the chef and Sullivans for making our Christmas Eve dinner a fabulous one. Moises, I’m glad you figured out their was one duplicate gift certificate.

Christmas Eve dinner was delicious! I had the shrimp pasta, which was rich and buttery. The pineapple lemon drop was also very good.

Their salads are pretty large portions. I was happy that my Roasted Beet Salad had watercress, goat cheese, candied walnuts and lovely pomegranate dressing. I would order it again. My friend's Mandarin Chicken Salad recommended by the waitress as being the most popular did not disappoint! The bulgogi chicken in it was so tender, unlike the grilled chicken that too many a restaurant would serve dry and chewy.
