The food was spectacular. Service was odd and off. My wife had an allergy that seemingly the server and kitchen couldn’t truly understand. She can have some nuts but not all, but the chef didn’t know what types of nuts were in their dishes so she wasn’t able to try some dishes she really wanted to. We had a transfer of servers. We ordered a guacamole at the very beginning and it wasn’t brought out until we asked for it realizing it wasn’t ordered for us. Undeniably, the food and drinks were spectacular.

Julian was a wonderful server. The food was great. We ordered a “pitcher of sangria” and expected red wine- no they brought champagne and it was the most expensive on the menu $72!!! Not worth it at all. It wasn’t even muddled fruit. It was champagne over ice and fresh orange slices. That was a huge disappointment. BUT- the bacalao was scrumptious and the rest was quite tasty.

Amazing selection of southern style food with some Asian twists. Nice wine selection. Beautiful dining room. Fantastic service. Recommend the deviled eggs, fried green tomato salad, and the collard greens. The steak was cooked perfectly with a pat of Cajun butter!

Making a booking was key as we were there just before a Capital's home game. Even with the restaurant full of jerseys, our server was wonderful, repeating things and checking in with each end of our long table, and making sure drink orders were filled promptly. Dinner and dessert were tasty, and splitting the checks at the end of the night was a breeze. Great spot to gather in DC.
