When I was a child I grew up with my mother, grandmother and aunt. All of them were very good in the kitchen. They had different styles and they cooked every day. From ravioli, soup or patisserie, everything was made from scratch. Those ladies were my teachers. My first lesson was dishwashing, later it was helping as their assistant. To honor those amazing woman who helped me in my early days, I decided to open Tarquin to bring Sioux Falls our flavors, recipes and dishes. Experience was great! A friend of mine were celebrating a work promotion and wanted to have a great meal to celebrate. Service was great. Our waiter was friendly and very intuitive during our meal; perfect ratio of service and letting us have our alone time. We ordered the mushroom pierogi and tuna carpaccio to start. Both delicious; the taro chips for the tuna were a little heavy handed with the salt. Flavors were fresh and welcoming. Dinner was the rabbit stroganoff and the gnocchi. Love all the comforting warm flavors. Rich but not super heavy. Delicious. Definitely coming back.

We shared a Burger Battle burger and had a couple of drinks. Service was excellent. Burger was good. Didn’t care for the corn topping. Margarita was a bit small, but quite good. We will be back to try some other dishes.
