Café Berlin has been serving authentic German cuisine on Capitol Hill since 1985. It occupies the ground floor of three townhouses whose front yards serve as Biergarten for outdoor dining. The interior features a small bar and two cozy dining rooms. The restaurant is located within a short walking distance of Union Station and the U.S. Capitol.     We had a great server named Danny on the grand opening night to the public. He gave us a very in-depth explanation of the menu, this made us get a little bit of everything. We got the blue fin tuna crudo, the smoked trout veloute, the coal roasted oysters (star of the show), the large plate sea bass with salsa verte, the brussel sprouts, and the crispy potatos brava, then ended the meal with the sweet potato tart & espresso. We had the sherry cobbler & falling into place cocktails to start, followed by two glasses of the robola with our fish. Everything was delicious and the charcoal oven really adds a unique flavor to all of the dishes. The side potatos was the most mid thing we ate, and that says a lot. We loved the atmosphere and the prices were crazy. We are big fans of Clyde’s, so we were stoked for Cordelia’s to open!

    Our meals and experience were EXCELLENT. My wife's meal of scallops, our guest's salmon and my shrimp/pasta (Diavalo) were WONDERFUL, as were the calamari and drinks we had before they arrived. While the entrance was a crush of people trying to check in and get seated, the atmosphere was lively and comfortable. The Hamilton is always a great experience but this was a first time for my wife and our guest to have dinner there and they loved it! Our server was good and attentive and wasn't a constant shadow to us either. A good time was had by all!

    Such an aesthetically cool restaurant, yummy food (the broccoli dish was a surprise star of the night), and we had the most exceptional customer service. I don’t always take servers up on their recommendations; but every rec made was spot on. Enjoyed the food, great ambience and the best energy from our server. Thanks for a great night!

    Zaytinya is one of my go to places to take friends, family, and out of town people because the food is great and the price is great! Our waitress took a while to take our order but the food came out fast and the drinks were great!
