Restaurants near Gathland State Park

Wow. This place is a must visit! The service was fantastic, the drinks were scrumptious (I had a winter margarita), and the food was impeccable!!!!! We will definitely return!!! Oh and you MUST have the coconut pound cake. We are still dreaming about that!!!!

As usual, a fabulous experience. My friend and I shared several appetizers. And a bottle of wine. And two desserts. And after-dinner drinks and coffee. Perfect!

It is no surprise that this restaurant is in the top 5 of every Best Restaurant List for the DMV. Food is presented beautifully, service is impeccable but not stuffy and the restaurant itself is comfortable, charming and definitely unusual. This restaurant is actually an “experience”, not an eatery.

First time diners and enjoyed our experience. The calamari was delicious. We enjoyed the old fashioned and our server was great.

The initial response as a whole was this looks quiet and not so active. Once outside the vehicle and actually checked the place out it came to like right in front of me. The tasting was nice and exposed me to some new wines. The food truck that was there, on Saturday 26th of October, was satisfying to the palate. The musical artist that performed was like a layer of warmth on a chilled evening. She sung some oldies but goodies and kept use entertained for a few hours. The main thing that stood out to me was there were no fire pits to keep warm on a cold afternoon. As a whole I enjoyed my first experience at this establishment I plan to return with more friends.
