Always a great experience at Joey Rideau! I was a little disappointed that you no longer offer sparkling wine as a welcome drink and have switched to a dealcoholized option instead. That said, our server was excellent. As for the food: My steak was delicious, but my husband's steak was not up to par. It was very chewy with large chunks of fat, and he couldn't eat it. He was too shy to mention it to anyone, so he ended up eating just the fries and salad. On the bright side, the trio sliders were absolutely amazing—so tasty! The Szechuan lettuce chicken was also fantastic, as always. We tried the Laurent Miquel white wine again, and it was just as good as we remembered. Aside from my husband's steak, everything else was perfect. Joey Rideau remains our top choice for dining out in Ottawa.

The staff was incredibly polite, as always, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Our waiter was exceptional, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, enhancing our dining experience. Love this place.

First time at Gia. So great. It’s always a treat to have a gluten free meal at such a great Italian restaurant. My only bit of feedback would be to have a gluten free baguette available for the apps ❤️

A lovely evening! Service was outstanding from the concierge, to the server, to the busboys. Very attentive & polite. Menu was diverse and interesting, food was delicious. Excellent wine list. Highly recommend!

We had a very enjoyable lunch. My only criticism: I would have liked to order dessert à la carte. I was offered the dessert buffet for $14. A selection of 3-4 desserts such as cheesecake, chocolate cake, pie à la mode, etc. for $7-8 would have been welcome. I couldn’t justify $14 for a piece of cake!
