It was my daughters birthday and it was amazing service was excellent food was outstanding and they gave my daughter a birthday card it was just an overall wonderful experience

Very hard to get a rez but good was excellent. Lasagna was fantastic and very different, using white sauce and rib meat. Pizza very good along with bouillabaisse. Fresh pasta. Make sure to ask which sauce is spicy though.

Surprised on how good the food is. Excellent service too. I had the deviled eggs appetizer and everyone in my party ordered different salads. Everything tasted fresh and was delicious. Service was spot on. I will definitely be back.

What stood out was the teamwork among the staff—other servers were willing to help, not just focused on their assigned tables. This collaborative effort truly enhanced the experience. Food: •Roadside Lobster Roll with Caviar (extra $$$): Absolutely phenomenal. The caviar perfectly complemented the lobster roll, adding a luxurious touch. The portion size is just right for fine dining and worth every bite. •Shaved Ribeye Dip: Delicious, though not particularly unique. While I enjoyed it, I found myself wishing I had ordered my wife’s lobster roll instead. Still, splitting two different dishes gave us the chance to explore the menu. Sides: Both the French fries and potato fries were great additions. They were satisfying and complemented the meals, especially when one dish had a smaller portion size. Dessert: The Banana Split with salted caramel was exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and downright indulgent. A must-try! Coffee: The Mocha Cappuccino with oat milk was disappointing. It tasted like stale brewed coffee. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize this until later since I took it to go, but it’s not something I’d order again. Overall: The experience was wonderful. I’d definitely return to enjoy the lobster roll with caviar, banana split dessert, and explore other menu options.

The Retreat never fails to provide a first rate meal and experience. Last night we had a great cauliflower soup, burger, and Nashville chicken. Each dish was excellent. Can't recommend the Retreat any more highly. You will see the difference between a cook and a chef. Not that the food is overly fancy or exotic, it's just perfectly prepared and delicious.
