Restaurants near Great Northern Depot

This was a first time experience at Spasso Italian restaurant and it was delightful. We were surprised to see a quality brunello bottle of wine on the menu, which we ordered. The interior has a lively neighborhood tavern feel to it with a centerpiece pizza oven that looks like fine art. Our waitress Autumn provided professional service with a warm and approachable personality. We enjoyed the brussel sprouts and tuna bite crisp appetizers, the arugula salad and the Spasso pizza. All delicious. Our entrees of walleye fish (breaded and broiled) were large portions and the lemon butter sauce delicious. My grandson ordered the shrimp scampi which was a little light on the number of shrimp. The dessert of tiramisu was fresh and light and large enough to be shared by the three of us. Also, the value is very good considering that the same quality of food in other restaurants is much more pricier. Highly recommend Spasso!

Everything we ordered was excellent food. This is a very nice restaurant and atmosphere is very enjoyable. i save this restaurant for special occasions but you dont have to as it is very affordable. wait staff was very attentive to make sure you enjoy your experience.

We enjoyed our dinner and the service was excellent! The only thing that could have made it a little better was to have a little more light where we were sitting. Next time will ask for a brighter area.

Our party of 3 enjoyed crab cakes , shrimp Ceasar salad, veal Parmesan- all very good. Busy in a Thursday evening
