- AAnnNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 15, 2024We both chose the set menu. 3 courses with good options was excellent value for money. The prawn cocktail was particularly good. The highlight was the sticky toffee dessert which I can honestly say is the best I have ever had. Choices for the main course were not overly exciting but beautifully presented. I opted for the haddock served in a cheese sauce which I enjoyed. The service was excellent, friendly but non intrusive. The dining room was full yet we were served promptly and made to feel welcome. The dining room itself is a special treat overlooking the lake.More infoThe Lakeview Restaurant at Macdonald Old England HotelPrice: Expensive• British• Windermere•4.3

- PPhillippaYorkshire •2 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 20, 2024Our 2nd time visiting since The Ryebeck reopened and we were not disappointed. We went with friends for Sunday lunch, the food and staff were exceptional. We will be returning. The bonus of us been able to take our dog is also a plus to us as when we are in Winderemer we are on holiday with him. I would highly recommend The Ryebeck to friends and familyMore infoThe Ryebeck HotelPrice: Moderate• British• Windermere•4.5
