- MMargotVIPChicago / Illinois •113 reviews5.0Dined todayFood is great! Malfadine and stuffed butternut squash pasta were excellent. Brussels sprouts had good flavor but were a bit mushy. Cevapi is my favorite dish on the menu. Restaurant kept us waiting 15 minutes past our reservation time, but we’re very apologetic and then sent over some sparkling wine and an extra dish. Very nice! Our waiter Johnny was very helpful and excellent with my daughter's nut allergy. More infoRose MaryPrice: Expensive• Croatian• West Loop•4.8

Fried potatoes and delicate squash were excellent. Roasted chicken was just a little crispy and so flavorful. Soppressata pizza was sweet and salty. So good. Can’t wait for leftovers. Tossed salad was just ok IMO.More infoAlla VitaPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Italian• West Loop•4.8

My server Alysia was super helpful and had made our anniversary celebration absolutely special! It was really nice and thoughtful of her. The wait staff professional and accommodating. The brunch lines were not long and food fresh. They served the typical breakfast foods with pastries and fresh fruit. All very good. There were complimentary photos with option to purchase others. I have to say photographer Ronit Bezalel did an amazing job capturing my husband and me. I expected the traditional stand in front of the tree type photo, but Ronit was much more creative. Don’t pass this up if offered. A great holiday breakfast. The timing of the service of each course was perfect! We never felt rushed and we did take our time enjoying each and every bite! All staff were great. Our server Nina was exceptional! Great knowledge of the dishes as well as the wines that complimented them. She was so genuine, nice and fun which added so much to our experience! We had the squash blossoms, blue prawns, insulate di cicoria (which was plentiful- we shared it) wild boar papperdelle pasta dish, and spaghetti ala vongole! Had a great bottle of vermentino that was featured this week. Finished with tiramisu, espresso martini and limoncello! Buonissima! Almost forgot to mention the view!
