I booked this place for dinner as it was near a clasical music performance my partner and I were attending with my mother. From the start the place was perfect. Excellent friendly and attentive staff, high-quality food, and a really warm and fun atmosphere. It was so nice to eat at a restaurant that was busy but not at all loud. We’ll definitely be back.

The service team was very attentive and made us feel special. The presentation of the food was so special that it rivaled restaurants that cost $400 each. I’m disappointed with the bread offering. The last time we were at the restaurant, there were bread choices, and they were warm. Yesterday, there was no choice. The server placed the bread on the plate, which was not warm. My guests enjoyed the salmon and rib. However, my duck entree was 60 percent fat, and you can hardly see the side dish. Overall, it was an enjoyable lunch.

Excellent dining experience. A very happening bar scene with the sit down portion of the restaurant logistically removed to facilitate conversation. The Bronzino was done to perfection with crispy skin and not a single bone. Hardly ever on the upper east side, but should the occasion arise, this would be my destination meal

Tucked into Central Park, Tavern on the Green was the perfect holiday experience to round out our Christmas in NYC trip! Cozy and festive decor paired with impeccable service and delectable food makes this a “must try” for anyone looking to soak in the magic that is Christmas in New York! I highly recommend the honey roasted fig appetizer and the pan seared scallop entree.

This is a wonderfully authentic Greek restaurant, walking distance from the Met. Pricy but the $39 prix fixe is absolutely terrific. Light and airy. Great, attentive service.
