Executive Chef Gary Lee creates balanced seasonal menus, featuring Ivy classics, but accounting for today’s tastes, incorporating more Asian dishes, salads and vegetables, and the advent of a “sea and shells” section. Director Fernando Peire leads a strong and experienced team to deliver the unfaltering service for which The Ivy has become well known over the years. Had an excellent pre theatre dinner. There were good choices for three courses. My guests loved the salmon tartare and I had a well prepared salad, with tomatoes a creamy feta and capers -an alternative to bruschetta “ The sea Bream was perfectly cooked as were the vegetables that came with it. The fillet mignonette brochette was delicious. Our deserts were all very good. The portions were well worked it for an early meals, satisfying and no too much. Service was impeccable. It is a lovely light stylish place to eat.

I love HRC Piccadilly. They are organised, professional and it’s service with a smile. I visited again this afternoon with my husband. The food arrived in good time after ordering and we could see the food being freshly cooked in the kitchen. The steak was cooked to perfection and the portion sizes were good. The service was superb and the atmosphere was great! We shall look forward to our next visit.

We had a celebratory meal for a small group. We were given a nice booth towards the rear of the restaurant. The restaurant was bigger than we were expecting - given the reputation i was wondering on good the food was going to be and we were not disappointed - the food was great. Oysters The rib for starters We shared these with the table just to whet the appetite and the ribs were so tender that even those who are keen on ribs were raving about them. For mains Bone in Rib to share £90 ish, 0.8kilo Ribeye 0.4 kilo Mushrooms Triple cooked chips Pigs blankets Lobster £35 ish 350 grams The chips were great, real triple cooked and did what they said on the tin. The steaks were perfectly cooked at Med-Rare - tender, tasty and melted in the mouth. The lobster was gorgeous and the garlic butter topped it off. We ended with dessert and had Sticky toffee sundae Peanut Butter Short Bread Chocolates All of them were consumed quickly and topped off a great meal. I recommend this for special occasions.

Excellent as always I choose Cheese souffle which was amazing followed by Ray Wing with capers and a beautiful buttery apple pie with clotted cream and a well priced bottle of Lugana. If you like fish this for me is the best fish restaurant in London and steeped in so much history the staff are always so pleasant
