The quality of the food was excellent and the quantity provided was very good . Our only complaint was the time it took to serve it. Our reservation was for 2pm but the dinner arrived at 2-45. This was surprising as there was only 6 other people in the retaurant,

Absolutely fantastic experience. Very polite staff showed us to our table and went through the chefs specials while we looked at the rest of the menu. Both had a soup starter which was piping hot and served with a crusty roll. My wife opted for the Salmon main and I had the Belly Pork both off the specials menu and we weren’t disappointed. Cooked to perfection and well proportioned. For desert it was cheesecake special (Oreo) and a Bread & Butter pudding for myself, and what a way to top off a great dining experience. All in all, a fantastic night out in a warm and spacious setting and in no way felt hurried to finish our meal.

My daughter and I went to the Griffin Inn for Boxing Day Lunch. We had been to several 'Festive Lunch' events in December so both opted for the Steak & Chips option. The steak was brilliant and cooked to perfection, as were the rest of the meal. The atmosphere was inviting and quieter than we expected, though it was livelier in the Bar where the football was on TV. The staff were attentive and we had a lovely time. We will definitely return.
