Restaurants near Highland State Recreation Area

My waiter was soft spoken. The music was loud so it was hard to hear what she was talking about . I like the music was loud just wish she would’ve spoken louder . Also self parking was full and the other self parking was a cross the street so very inconvenient. My food was delicious no complaints in that area . Over all I would give the restaurant 4 stars

Nice to have Italian food prepared by a real chef not just a short order cook. The presentation was excellent and the temperature perfect. Waiters everywhere ensuring our lunch was alright. Only question I had was why wasn't the fireplace alight in these frigid temperatures outside.

Food and service were very good although expensive. Dinner for two was $200, including the tip. Menu seemed a little paired down compared to its sister restaurant. Looking forward to going back in the summer after the restaurant has had time to operate and enjoy the ambiance of the restaurants location on the lake.

The food and service was fantastic. The table prepared Caesar salad was very good lettuce was crisp dressing was very good. They cut up the anchovies very nicely so they were not recognizable the way I like it. The Bolognese was fantastic and the Bronzino my wife really enjoyed it we will be back

This place has all the potential to be the best Steakhouse in Michigan. Great service, great location, amazing food quality. The owner is there and takes care of all details. If anything, noise level can be managed a bit better.
