Restaurants near Hill County Cell Block Museum

Having followed the renovation,vor many years and also of course Chip and Jo, I really enjoyed being in their space. There were lots of opportunities for joining in with other people and conversation but we were seated in the rear dining room which we really enjoyed because we wanted a quiet atmosphere. It was perfect. The space bordered an outdoor space that was not in use because it was winter. There was lots of natural light, the service was on point, attentive, friendly and genuine. We had the stack of "onion donuts" which we loved and the ranch dressing. Then, we had each a smashburger but we couldn't finish our meal and we each took half of our Burger home with us for later, it was great. It was good being in the space, enjoying the fellowship, great service in the elegant but casual atmosphere. Well done Chip and Jo and well done to the staff who carries their vision forward.

We came to Vidorra for Christmas dinner. Originally had a table for 7 reserved, but 4 backed out. Adjusted the reservation ahead of time. Waitstaff was great, friendly and prompt. The food was really good. The giant margarita was outstanding. We will absolutely be back.

My wife and I went to Meehan's Chophouse for our second anniversary and everything was great. Great food, great service and great ambiance. We'll definitely continue visiting this place and would 100% recommend to friends and family

We had a group of 15 people and our service by Jada was absolutely fantastic! I even called the restaurant to verify our reservation and to added couple of more people to the list. They were extremely courteous and said no problem. When we arrived the table was set and ready. This is our 4th year to celebrate this tradition and we will be back next year!

The beer was exceptional - the food was good too. But if I went again, I’d go for the beer!
