- LLeahSan Diego •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoGreat live band playing jazz music. Server was really friendly and attentive to the table. Enjoyed my birthday dessert while my friends got some drinks and we watched the band. Had a lovely evening!More infoMadisonPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• University Heights•4.5
- DDaveSan Diego •38 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a rough start to our dinner... right before we were sat the restaurant's system went down and we had to wait about an hour. The good news was that once it was back up and running, the place had cleared out pretty well and we were sat right away. Allison was our server and she was amazing. The star of the show was Paul, our Chef. An absolute legend of a chef and he made the evening super enjoyable. Allison kept our drinks full and checked on us frequently. What started as a rough dinner experience ended up being one of our best Benihana meals ever! Oh, and kudos to the ladies at the host station... they did a great job keeping everyone informed on the progress and handled angry customers well.More infoBenihana - San Diego, CAPrice: Moderate• Japanese• Mission Valley•4

We like to sample a lot of different items, so we spent a lot of time on the "Bites" part of the menu, and it was all fantastic. Each item we had was very well crafted and well executed to deliver some extraordinary flavor combinations. The Oysters, Tostados, Handrolls, and Steak tartar were all highlights and not what you would normally expect for these types of dishes. the Dover Sole was very enjoyable, but it was a special so won't always be there. Not a huge wine list but well covered and you could get many nice wines by the glass that are normally reserved for by the bottle lists. I highly recommend going, we will go back very soon.More infoJuniper & IvyPrice: Expensive• Unspecified• Little Italy•4.6
- SshaniquaSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoI am beyond satisfied with my experience. I had been waiting for a year for the chance to have this experience. So when I randomly caught an open reservation I had to take it. The food was amazing, the beef short rib was amazingly tender. I was honestly drawn to the ambience and was blown away. The snow falling at the top of the hour was a great addition. We walked the venue and took lots of pictures as well.More infoinsideOUTPrice: Expensive• Californian• Hillcrest•4.8
