Just told what was included but not how it was prepared.More infoThe Salt Line - BethesdaPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Bethesda•4.5
- MMaggieWashington, D.C. Area •21 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoSpanish Diner is one of the nicest restaurants in the area. The interior decor is fun and happy, the menu is expansive and innovative, and the food is amazing. I took my daughter, her husband and 15 year old granddaughter there for an early Saturday night dinner. We ordered 6 appetizers, two main courses and 4 desserts , all to share. We loved everything. I ordered the regular Margarita and it was one of the best I have ever had. Our waitstaff was lovely and frequently checked on us. Dinner guests are dressed casually but nice. It was a lovely evening and my 15 year old granddaughter declared that she loves trying new restaurants.More infoSpanish Diner - BethesdaPrice: Moderate• Spanish• Bethesda•4.2
- DDAVIDVIPWashington, D.C. Area •15 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoIt's been a few years, and we had forgotten how great this restaurant is. The kitchen is impeccable: every dish is perfectly done. I had the crab cakes: The cakes were moist and tender with no filling; just totally crabby, as they should be. The mashed potatoes were creamy and fluffy; too often, they're over-pureed in restaurants and end up gloppy, but these were perfect. Other complements, spinach and a corn succotash, equally great. My wife's soup starter was a little not hot enough, but otherwise excellent in taste and texture. Her tuna tartare was a beautiful arrangement, well balanced and delicious. Apple pie-ish for dessert also excellent. This is a fine-dining level of restaurant, without any pretensions at all. Surprisingly busy on a very cold night. Service was great; fast, attentive and personable. A bit loud when we went at 7:15, but all tables were full and people do talk over dinner. Chairs are a bit hard on the old butt -- no cushions. But nobody's perfect.More infoPersimmonPrice: Moderate• American• Bethesda•4.8
