- KKimWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoIt was our first time at Ocean Blue and it did not disappoint. Very gourmet menu selection, the staff are very nice and welcoming. The place is upscale, but also kid-friendly with a great children’s menu. My son however, ordered from the adult menu and said the Faroe island salmon is the best thing he’s ever had! I have to agree with him!More infoOcean Blue Restaurant & Oyster BarPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Utica•4.4
- MMelissaNew York City •5 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 16, 2024Went with a group of 9. Some things were cold (mashed potatoes, appetizer meatballs)… but everything was very tasty. Our waiter seemed a little rushed/busy, but still provided excellent service. We appreciated the small, private room for our larger group.More infoChesterfield's TavoloPrice: Moderate• Italian• Utica•4.5
- RRobertNew York State •24 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 15, 2024We dined on a Thursday night in November and had a lovely meal. The food was outstanding starting with a sumptuous wedge salad and tasty shrimp cocktail. The leg of lamb was delectable and my ribeye steak was cooked to perfection. Our server was very good, although it was a little awkward when he offered to my wife for tasting, the wine that I had ordered. I wish the table had been set with a linen tablecloth - placemats are just not congruent with the otherwise elegant atmosphere. Special kudos to Brian, the manager, who immediately engaged us when the question of gluten sensitivity arose.More info1909Price: Very Expensive• American• Cooperstown•4.8
- MMicheleNew York City •10 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 9, 2024We really enjoyed our meals at Canal Side Inn. The food was excellent! Could not have been better. From interesting and fresh soup and salad choices, to well prepared and presented main courses and desserts, everything was great. The atmosphere is like taking a step back in time, with wood paneling and even a full phone booth outside the bar area. The music, tunes I remembered hearing at my grandparent's house, complemented the environment nicely. Tables were beautifully set and the service pleasant and attentive. The only thing that was a slight negative, and due to the age and location of the space, was a musty smell initially upon entering. A little bit like a grandparent's house, too! :) In no way did that impact the overall experience for us, and we will definitely be back.More infoCanal Side InnPrice: Expensive• French• Utica•4.5
