Restaurants near Horseshoe Curve National Historic Landmark

We started our evening at the 1855 Lounge. It’s a beautiful venue with high level cocktails and scotch. Great way to start! Walked over to Lionne next door and had an amazing dinner. Enjoyed delicious lobster bisque, a traditional NLI flavor. Our entree was beautifully browned scallops, black rice with light raisins for a little sweet, tiny tomatoes and spicy micro greens. We were very impressed with both the great flavors and original presentation. The dessert we chose was a yummy chocolate cake with fresh fruit, sherbet and lemon cream. It was truly a great dinner at a new venue that didn’t disappoint at all!

Excellent food, service and atmosphere, as always. This is our favorite restaurant in State College.

My carrot soup and farro risotto were both fantastic. My husband’s linguini was equally delicious. After moving to State College two years ago, and visiting every summer for over 20 years, this was our first visit to the Allen Street Grill. It won’t be our last!

Service was excellent and food never disappoints! Def get the rolls and deviled eggs!

The waitress was wonderful, she was polite, and helpful. The food is excellent! We will be back again.
