This is a bit of a hidden gem in SD. Especially when other lesser restaurants are booked up. The food is really top-notch, and it's in such a beautiful place. The steak is a little nothing, but the fish and vegetables are what they really excel in.

Great food! Loved the duck and filet, French onion soup was also amazing. Art our server was excellent!

We love the Stake Chophouse Restaurant. We choose it to celebrate our 30 year anniversary and we were hapoy we did. They received us with a Happy Anniversary Card on our table, they gave us a glass of champagne for a toast. Vanessa was a fantastic server as we remember her being in previous ocasions. The food was excellent the Chef went the extra mile for us. We had the perfect ambiance! THANK YOU! To all the servers, chef, cooks and manager for making our anniversary very special.

Unpretentious with casual ambiance. Server was fantastic, exuded upbeat & engaging energy throughout our dining experience. I never felt rushed. My reservation changed from 2, 4,5 back to 2 - the host was unbothered each time & more than accommodating to update the number of guests ( a portion of the party had a fender bender while en route). The smoked salmon tartine deconstructed was excellent - the salmon was delicious & buttery! French onion soup stock was rich and comforting. The blood orange spritzers with a sprig of rosemary was served in a healthy glass & complimented my afternoon break from reality!

The staff was very friendly and professional, we waited almost no time and had waters in front of us just after we sat down. The menu is a pretty unique design that is incredibly simple to read, we found what we wanted fast and our waiter (Sean) appeared like he knew we had decided and it felt like he had only just left the table when he was headed back with our appetizer! Took a little time for the entree BUT I wouldn’t trust it if my steak came out too fast, and the wait for that wagyu was worth every second! First time I’ve gotten a steak at a restaurant and it wasn’t mostly fat! Every bite was amazing! If I still lived in the area I would come more often; definitely a new restaurant marked down for visiting!
