Restaurants near Hotel Forsthaus St. Hubertus

First time at this new restaurant, great food and service, we will definitely come again next time we visit Lübeck.

We asked for a table outside with a heater. It took quite a while for them to remember that we were out there but once we reminded them service was very good. I had the special "Holiday in Italy" which was excellent, with trout perfectly cooked. My husband had labskaus, also delicious. Portions were large.

Food and service, surroundings was very good, but because there was a bigger dinner company or per haps to many guests or to less staff? the waiting time to get in contact with a serving was to long, e.g. it took 15 min. to get the bill. That avoided us to order a dessert as we could see it too to long time.

This is one of my absolute favourite restaurants. The food is excellent and extreemely good value for money. The seasonal goose is the best I have ever had, but everything I have tried on the menu on other occasions was excellent, from the pasta to the wild boar. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, the wine card is very reasonable in price and at the same time includes very interesting choices (for example we had an excellent South African Desert Wine).
