Whenever I'm in a city with a Hawksmoor I jump at the chance to eat there. With being in Scotland they had cuts from highland cattle so couldn't resist a prime rib. The food is always amazing and the staff are passionate about their jobs. Hawksmoor Edinburgh is in a grand building with a lot of history you can learn about from a leaflet they have available.

We had the chateaubriand for two and although the meat was not quite filet mignon. (As we thought), it was delicious and perfectly cooked. Great Mac nd cheese (not dry) and mashed potatoes. Our server, Lea, was fantastic! Definitely return and recommend!

Fabulous food and terrific service. Every course was delicious from starters through to desert. The garlic prawns were outstanding and the streaks and fish mains cooked to perfection. The level of service matched the food. First visit to the Edinburgh branch of The Spanish Butcher but won’t be the last.
