Service was exceptional. I ordered a filet mignon wrapped with bacon but the bacon was burnt so caused the entire steak to taste like charcoal and although i had ordered a medium rare, the meat was dry. My fiancee had ordered a filet mignon with garlic and it was perfect. The mac and cheese was just average but the lobster bisque was good.

Great experience ! Our server, Erin, was personable, knowledgeable about the food and the menu. She checked back several times to make sure everything was ok. The food was outstanding ! The salmon New Orleans and the brussel sprouts were prepared to perfection !

The Tobacco Company is a Christmas Eve tradition with me. My soon-to-be-wife and I celebrated there the first time in 1998 (because it's was one of the few restaurants open on Christmas Eve back then, and there was no way we could get together on Christmas Day). This tradition has continued unbroken ever since, 23 of the 27 dinners being at the Tobacco Company. The missed years? Three due to the fire, and 2020 was take-out from another place due to COVID. Last night's meal was the usual: Absolutely excellent. The New York Strip was cooked to perfection (they understand 'rare'), the service was professional and prompt, and the ambience was . . . . . well, what I love the Tobacco Company for. Definitely coming back next year.

Thank you for yet another amazing dining experience at Rio. I brought my family this evening for our Christmas celebration. We may have started a new tradition. We enjoyed every moment, and I offer special kudos to the hostess/server, Amanda--who always shines so brightly, you have to wear sunglasses to be in the same room with her! Thank you, Amanda, for your warmth and sweet, welcoming smile. And thank you so so much for providing this lovely venue, Val. And I'm also grateful to you, Emilio, for the fabulous wine. This was an annual special event opportunity to dine in the tea house. The food was wonderful. Part of the treat of course is that it is held in the middle of Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden during their winter Gardenfest of Light. The gardens were beautiful to look out on while enjoying a wonderful meal. This is also a fundraiser for the gardens, which we love to visit.
