- CCarolynVirginia •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoIt is often difficult to find a restaurant open on Mondays so we were glad to find The Local open and with half-price wine night. Food was great and our server Stella could not have been more helpful.More infoThe LocalPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Charlottesville•4.5

Sasha is a wonderful server - knows exactly when to help and when to give space to the table. Drinks are fantastic and the food is truly delicious. Fantastic and attentive service so much so our water glasses never went empty the whole time. I highly recommend this place and make sure to get a reservation in ASAP!More infoC&OPrice: Very Expensive• American• Charlottesville•4.9

- PPeterVIPRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •4 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThis is a regular stop when I have to come into town for work. It’s just hard to get a reservation when the patio is closed (aka the winter!). Always get the filet and it is yet to disappoint (4 times and counting). There sauces are good - but the salt flakes are amazing. Highlights and compliments the natural flavors. Tried some new sides - both excellent. The mushroom ragot was great, but don’t need to get it again. The brussel sprouts were amazing and rivaled the smashed potatoes (my personal favorite). I will definitely be getting them again. If you like steak in a relaxed atmosphere, you will like this restaurant.More infoBlack Cow ChophousePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Charlottesville•4.9
