Great service from Ally. Views and ambience were spectacular. Ocean views aplenty. Food was pretty good. Nothing inventive or spectacular, but solid. They really push their Mai Tais which were very tart with a thick and super sweet foam which reduces the size of the cocktail by a good amount. Not even close to others I’ve had in Waikiki.

WOW! 5 STARS all the way around!! From the moment we sat down and took in the amazing view to then meeting our server Sarah we knew we were in for an amazing dining experience. Everything Sarah recommended to us was delicious!! The cocktails so refreshing! The entrees mouth watering. I had the flat iron steak special and my husband had the ginger pesto catch of the day. Both entrees were cooked to perfection with the best flavors! They were DELICIOUS! Sarah was an absolute delight!! Her smile lit up the room every time she interacted with us. She provided 10 star customer service! We can’t wait to return in late February to enjoy another amazing dining experience and you bet we will be asking for Sarah!!

Our overall experiencing dining here was amazing. They made our anniversary dinner memorable with the wonderful service. We loved both the food and drinks. The beachside seating is so beautiful at sunset even on a cloudier day. Our stand outs were the hamachi kama, ube pina colada, and our awesome server Jordan!

We’ve had the pleasure of dining at a number of Roy’s locations over the years (including on the Big Island just a few weeks ago.) All have been good, but our experience at the original Roy’s on Oahu was exceptional. The service was friendly and professional, our sunset view table was appreciated and our meal was perfectly prepared and delicious. Happy to highly recommend.

Merriman's Ward is definitely our first preferred spot for wino wine share get togethers. Food's fantastic and approachable and the corkage is still wino friendly compared with other places that have corkage charges set to discourage bringing special bottles to share with friends. We enjoyed a 3 hour commiseration over a bottle of Radio Silence! Servers were attentive but not intrusive--they let us do our wine share thing; very nice and appropriate wine glasses. All in all a place not to be missed. Thanks and mahalo again Merriman's Ward!!
