- NNickiIowa •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoMartini's Grille was a request by our daughter for her birthday. The restaurant was decorated for the holidays and very festive. We had a wonderful experience from being seated to dessert! The staff made my 16yr old and 18yr old feel very welcome and included. My husband tried the seasonal soup and it was amazing. I had an exceptional martini and the girls enjoyed the warm pretzel appetizer. Our dinners were varying but the steaks were cooked perfectly and the sides we shared were also as perfectly made. We celebrated the birthday with the Big 'Ole Ice Cream Cake with a sparkler and it made the evening!More infoMartini's GrillePrice: Expensive• Steak• Burlington•4.8

- SShannonIowa •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 14, 2024The service was excellent and the food was superb. There was a mistake made and it took our food a bit longer to come out, however, they corrected this quickly and gave us our meal for free. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we will be back.More infoBass Street Chop HousePrice: Expensive• Steak• Moline•4.5
- EEdVIPWisconsin •34 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 28, 2024We booked a reservation and were concerned about the number of bad reviews. We were delighted! The dining room was charming yet simple. Good quality table cloth and napkins Menu is limited. The three entrees were generous and well prepared. The vegetables on one plate were cold and were promptly replaced Cocktails were excellent Good value and very pleasant Thanksgiving dinner. Thank you Nora and Dylan!More infoThe Supper ClubPrice: Expensive• American• Iowa City•3.2
- AAmyIowa •4 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 23, 2024Beautiful decor (especially with the Christmas decorations). Seated immediately - we had reserved a table for an early dinner and were the only guests at that time. Waiter was very personable and helpful regarding menu items. We ordered 2 drinks and were very disappointed: Not a lot of bang for your bucks, so to speak. Way too pricey for what we received. Minuscule amounts compared to what other fine dining establishments serve. Food was excellent, however. Ahi tuna, scallops, and side of lobster mac & cheese. All delicious and expertly plated. Dessert was turtle cheesecake and a large portion at that! Scrumptious! All in all, a pleasant experience. We do believe improvements in alcoholic beverages/cocktails are needed. One other suggestion is to serve some sort of bread (rolls, breadsticks, assorted muffins, mini baguettes, etc.), the amount commensurate to # of guests. It’s a welcoming touch that most diners expect. Other than that, we enjoyed our dinner and time spent!More infoMaxwell's on the RiverPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Davenport•4.7
